What is disgraced politician face, you ask? A grimacer need not actually be disgraced as of yet, or even a politician per se, to exhibit a quality d.p.f. This particular facial expression, a pure fruit of media-saturated, emotion-marketing modernity, is omnipresent. And the disgrace is only part of the show; after all, few among the clownish agents of power that mimic each other's performance of it have any grace to lose. The proper performance essentially involves a face resembling the one normally displayed in severe pre-evacuation rectal distension; the primary indices are (1) general liplessness, (2) chin crumple, and (3) cheek lumps. And for once in their lives, they've got their mouths shut! Once you start to look you will see them making this stupid face of pathetic attempted composure before their obvious inadequacy everywhere.
